Last night I picked up a TMNT cab and before it was moved the monitor powered up and displayed the game, albeit that it needed a cap kit. After we moved it and powered up the game the monitor sounded like it was powering up, but I could see no glow in the CRT heater. I checked all of the cables and everything is connected. If there is no glow in the tube what should be my first thing I should check?? The neck looked fine. I didn't see any cracks in it and it was crackling when I turned on the power and the tube had static on it. I just have no glow in the tube.
Sould I check for bad solder joints first?? What could jar loose that would cause this during the move?? I even made sure the neckboard was pushed in all the way.

It could just be a loose ground on the chassis frame. Looking at the back of the monitor there should be a black wire connected to the frame on the left side. Make sure it's hooked up and making good connection.

It's also possible that one or more capacitors have finally died causing a 'no power up' symptom. So I would advise to get that capkit in there right now, check for bad solder joints, and examine the flyback for signs of cracking.
