My buddy has installed Game Launcher and he's run into some trouble. He tells me that he configured the roms directory ok and that he ran the exe to scan the roms directory and add all his games.... it still won't run.
He went into debug mode and he says that it's adding a . before the rom name. Can anyone think of a reason for this? I'm at work right now and can't check to see what mine is doing. (mine works fine though)
I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before?

I've successfully configured GL before....
my understanding is that you'd either do the rom directory thing, specifiying the extensino (probably zip in this case)
OR do the the other thing that creates the .rom/.map files in the config directory...
Sounds like your friend has both going on... my suggestion would be to either spedify the extension... or disable directory based thingie....

Well Game Launcher is an excellent emulator. But I have NEVER had good results with the whole rom scanning thing. I have never gotten it to work actually....
BUT, it is very easy to manually do what the scanner is doing and make your own ROM and MAP files.
