Title: What's wrong with this picture...
Post by: rcdriver434 on June 04, 2005, 07:41:47 pm
Why is the MAME Dev team pulling legitimate auctions for things like marques and encoders when there is stuff like this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13716&item=6183434322&rd=1

Direct quote from auction:

"This game has a Coin door and can be used to make money if you so like to, I can also put it on Free-play. Winning bidder can e-mail and ask for Free play and we will set it up for you."

the ultracade is supposed to use licensed roms. Just not sure what is licensed and what isnt. Im not real keen on keeping up on legalities and ultracade. Your best bet is to contact ultracade and simply ask if you can receive a list of all their"licensed" materials available for purchase. That should give you some idea of whats happening.

They keep that on eBay because it is perfectly legal.  ::)

Even if it is UltraCRAP, it is not running MAME, and does not have any reason to be VeRO'd by the MAME devs.
