Hi Guys,
I have just started to use mamewah and having problems.
I'm trying to set it up in vertical mode, but nothing (and I mean nothing) works.
Can someone post some ini files for me to look at?
I have even tried mamewah config, but it does give me some layout error when trying to save.
Thanx

BTW!
I managed to get it started in horizontal, so I think I might get the vertical settings to work

I run it vertical on my cocktail so it does work. You need to rotate your Windows desktop. The video drivers from nVidia, ATI and Intel (newer boards) all do this. There is also a couple of utilities that do this. I use one called Pivot Pro. Then you need a layout that is either 480x640 od 600x800 as opposed to 640x480 or 800x600. There really isn't much more to it than that. There is nothing fancy in the ini files except in the mamewah ini file the folder you point to for layouts has to have your vertical layouts in it and, of course, they need named appropriately but this applies to horizontal also.
Good Luck,
John

I've been able to rotate my windows desktop using NVIDIA's settings and it works for mamewah, but when I launch mame, it reverts back to the horizontal resolutions.
Anybody out there kind enough to share their mame.ini for a vertical monitor? Right now I have my resolution set to 600x800...
Thanks in advance...

Nevermind, I figured it out.
In the mame.ini file, rol should be set to 1
Unfortunately, this causes horizontal games to fail...
