Title: Anyone know anything about webcasting??

Me and some of my friends are hoping to start a live DJ webcast session on a sunday night. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with streaming live or prerecorded audio on the internet? We would like to do it for free or cheaply as possible if we can. Anyone know whats involved or if you could point me in the right direction of the info im looking for?

Lots of resources.  It seems popular know to podcast (use ipod).  Shoutcast is probably the way you are going to go.  Either last month or two months ago Wired magazine had a good article on webcasting.  Maybe they have an archive of the article on their website.
