Title: Speakers 4 a no computer cabinet?
Post by: shodokan123 on June 01, 2005, 10:52:51 am
how would i go about this? i plan on using x-box, dreamcast and ps2 in my cabinet.

only way i can think of is to get one of them universal inputs, put them all into one and then put the audio cord into the input for the subwoofer and such...

You can basically do anything you want. I don't know how you'd splice them without using some form of switcher box. But since you have to be swapping discs and such, it wouldn't be difficult to press a button to switch the input. Your best bet would be to get a decent set of computer speakers, a stereo to mini adapter would work with a switcher

Shadoken.

I'm looking at doing a DC cabinet (which you already know, heheh)
I encountered the same question.
I'm getting a DC VGA box cause I'm going to be running it on a pc monitor.
The DC VBA box has an audio out!

So instead of plugging the speakers into the pc, I can plug them into my VGABox!
Should work I think?

Anyone know for sure?
