Hi. Will probably be wiring up my cabinet today after many months of inactivity, and was wondering how to thread the wire through the microswitch. I am using an I-PAC with controls from Ultimarc, and was wondering if I just thread the wire through the little holes at the ends of the metal parts coming out of the switches. I have attached a picture showing this.
Thanks!

You either crimp your STRANDED wire into a quick disconnect. You would use a red one, female at that, of 3/16" size.
Or you can just solder your wire to the tab, in which case any type of wire will do.

... though if you solder, and you're bad at soldering, an dyou heat up the tab for too long, you will melt stuff.
:D

I'd vote for the quick disconnect option, as you will likely end up having to desolder too many connections when you decide to rearrange your panel later. :-)

Microwitches should never be wired. They should be burned at very small stakes!
(Use disconnects)

Better yet, get completely non-insulated disconnects and solder your wire to THAT!!!
