Just wondering how many here have built a horizontal cab and then backed it up with a vertical cab for even more realistic native games..?
I am in the process of building (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,37311.0.htmll)a (Horizontal) cab and despite the fact that its not even finished am already thinking about my next (vertical) project..

I intend to build one of each this summer (if my funds allow). Otherwise, the horizontal is first.

I have two projects in the basement with this in mind.
-
With the first project (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,34189.msg296579.html#msg296579) nearly complete, that means that the second--a dedicated vertical--will be started soon.
After seeing this thread from those with experience, is there any advice you'd give on a first-time vertical cabinet? Specifically, any major software/display issues you guys ran into in your projects?
Thanks in advance...

I am in the process of building a dedicated Horizontal, a dedicated vertical, and a vector machine.

Word of advice, do the control panels last, or you will never finish.
I "finished" my cab with a horizontal monitor, then decided that I wasn't completely happy with the swappable CPs, so I went modular.
I also wasn't happy with the monitor in it because my wife didn't want me to "tear apart" the brand-new 21" PC monitor I bought for it, so I mounted it with the case intact.
I recently decided to make it a dedicated vertical cab, bought a 19", decased it, and mounted it vertically.
I just got a 29" monitor for my "next" project, but haven't done anything other than hook it up to use with my standalone controllers yet.
