I just picked up a Vidi/o converter box than converts rgb/sync to ntsc/svideo and ntsc/svideo to rgb/sync. Would this work to conect a dvd or video game to an arcade monitor and if so what kind of picture can I expect?

It should work, and should give you a good result (as good or sometimes better than a TV).

Hi ssmrpopo, I was asking about an RGB --> NTSC converter a couple weeks ago. Where did you find that converter? Could you give me some details? Thanks.

I picked mine up on e-bay, it cost 35 after shipping. Just search under "professional video equipment" the prices range from cheap to real expensive. I hope it works decent, I 'm picking up my cabinet tomorrow!

Ebay returned 0 results. If you still have it, could you give me the auction number so I can take a look at it? Thanks.
