Title: Mamewah help please

Ok so I've just reformatted my hard drive and installed the latest Mamewah 1.61. I'm using mame v0.86b. When I run Mamewah I get a black screen. I actually have to shut down the PC and start again. When I read the notepad file this is what I see. Any ideas on a fix?

Ok I'm an idiot. Just installed DirectX9.0 and all is good. Thankyou.

Ok I spoke too soon, I can now run Mamewah and play a game but when I exit, the screen freezes, Mamewah isn't responding and when I shut everything down with task manager I just get a black screenand have to reboot.
HELP!?

What version of windows are u using?  It could be a few things.
