I'm sure a simple question - I'm just not seeing it. I have an IPAC (no LED harness) and Opti-Pac. I have a translucent trackball for which I want to hook up a couple of LED's to illuminate. They apparently need a 5V source, which I know the IPAC/OptiPAC uses as power as well... Using them, or something else, where can I get a constant 5V source to light the two LED's?
Thanks!!!!!!!!

Your computer power source has +5V (red wire), just make sure you have a resistor before the LED. This has been discussed a few times http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=663;start=0 (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=663;start=0)

Perfect, thanks! I did search before I posted, but obviously I didn't search too well.
Thanks again! :o

You might try picking up one of the led clusters available here. Should provide tons of light and come with an adapter for attaching to computer 12v power supply:

wow - that looks perfect! Thanks!

The Opti-pac has terminals labeled 5v and ground.
I just used these and added a current limiting resistor
it works great and illuminated the trackball perfectly.
