Someone got me a little toy with an LCD display, I think it's called a 20Q or something like that. Anyway it does more or less the same thing. It's really amazing how often it guesses correctly.

He guessed "Lamp". Freaky.

but I stumped him with "Arcade Machine". Keep in mind, you can mislead him by not answering correctly...

He guessed cigarette butt in 13 questions.
Funniest part was when he guessed it, a storm trooper showed up in the background clapping for Lord Vader. He was quite happy Vader guessed it soo quickly

Minus the freaky Burger King.

does it show you how many guesses it took at the end? im thinking 'bottle' but i guess bottles arent that common in vaders world and ive lost count how many guesses hes had!

edit: you know he's struggling when he asks 'does it weigh more than a duck'  ;D

i reckon i could kick his butt! yeah, soon as a join one of those medievel societies and get trained up im coming for him  ;)

He incorrectly guessed bottle when I was thinking of Pez Dispenser.  It starts showing how many questions he's asked at 17 I think.

Wewt, I stumped him with "An Attic." It ended up giving me a list of things it could be (10 or so items) and "An Attic" was on there/  ;D

I stumped him also.  Hubcap.  Stumped the Burger King also.  But after he gave up, I also got a list of 10 possible answers, and hubcap was one of them.

The way this game works is that it builds and changes its database as people play, adding more items. When he gives up and you type in your answer, it gets added to the database (essentially making him "smarter", assuming you didn't give BS answers along the way).

it's pretty ingenious, it guessed "shoelace" in 20 questions.  I thought I had it beat b/c a lot of my answers were "maybe" or "irrelevant".

still trying hubcap. i never get enough time at internet cafes to try it properly. darth sure is a slow thinker!

"im guessing its a bottle"
"im guessing its a chisel"

IM guessing darth should get work as a clairvoyant with that line of questioning  ;D

30 Questions and nothing... I thought of Paper.

I thought of cheetos..

then figured, wtf why not, and thought of "snacks"

it didnt get either..

I tried Hubcap and it guessed it after a long while and 2 wrong guesses.

(Maybe "snacks" is too generic)

Hmm, that 20q website is freaky. It got both Cufflinks and Steering Wheel in 20q. Didn't get Solder.

It asks odd questions though. I tried with a radish and even though obviously the program knows its a vegetable it asks questions like "is it man made?" and "does it provide protection?" Started me thinking about all the things a radish could protect you from. I may have to write a trifling monograph on the subject.
