A coin slot is connected the same way as a switch.  All the coin slot does is sort good coins from bad coins and then passes the good coins down a slot which trips a switch.

Dan what are you using for an interface? Like JM said a coin slot is just another button. Do you currently have a button wired for credits?

There is no requirement to connect a coinslot to a playstation.  Your start button should play the game. Any arcade button wired to the start on the controller would work.

I was wondering how you used coin slots with a ps. If you wanted you could wire the coin slot to the start button. It woud be neat the first  time you played then it would get annoying.
