I have 2 Ultimarc T-Stiks (one T-Stik Plus) but the shafts are too short for 3/4" wood. They are playable and quick, but I would like more movement on them. I do not know how to route the board so that the controllers have a deeper slot. Is there a good replacement shaft that is compatible with the T-Stiks? I know there are good ones for the Happ Joysticks, but I have not yet found one for Ultimarc's sticks.

One thing you can do is fit a Happ Super handle to a T-Stik. They're both made by the same manufacturer.
The Super's shaft is a little longer (depending upon which groove you use) so you have to use spacers to make it fit. I tried this once using metal washers as spacers and it worked pretty well.
This won't work with the T-Stik+ because the Super joysticks use an e-clip instead of a screw to hold the joystick together. The lift and twist mechanism requires a screw to work.
Also, the Groovygamegear handles might fit but AFAIK no one has tried them with the T-Stiks yet.

You know Ultimarc sells longer shafts, right?

No, I didnt see the long shafts. Are the tops replacable so that I can put the original tops on the longer shafts?

No, the tops aren't replacable. Also note that those shafts are only for the T-Stik Plus.
GroovyGameGear.com sells some long-shafted ball tops (http://www.groovygamegear.com/cgi/surfshop/shop.cgi?ud=&storeid=1&cols=1&categories=0029&&c=detail.htm&itemid=VBALL01), but I'm not sure if they would fit in a T-Stick (not Plus).
