I don't think this was posted here but I saw this on the news yesterday:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/05/21/boy.machine.ap/index.html
Thats amazing that a child could climb into one of those things. Looks like he had a good time though! ;D

Wow. Didn't this happen a couple of years ago too? Those crazy kids will never learn!
-
At first, Manges thought it was funny: "He was playing with all the toys and hanging from the bar like a monkey."
She even bought a disposable camera to take pictures, as other shoppers did.
But she soon became upset when Wal-Mart employees said they did not have a key to let James out.
lol

When I first saw the headline, I thought someone had dug up an old article. Seems odd that two kids somehow got inside those things (doesn't seem like there's an opening big enough for one).

they need to put one of those industrial strength piezo electric barbeque grill starter units in the prize door, so evertime the doors opened the tunnel in there is mildly energized.. :police:

I think the bigger question is this:
If there's a hole big enough for kids to get INSIDE the thing, why is anyone paying money over and over again to play, instead of throwing a dollar in to pay for the toy you're about to reach in and take.
Hey kids, make sure to lick your hands and grab on tight to anything you put your hands on while you're in there ;D

It's exactly like a lobster trap!
BTW, I've seen this happen at Chuck E Cheese with a basketball game. Kid climbed up, went under the bar, and was hanging off the basketball hoop as it rotated back and forth... they they couldn't get him out.
His parents were nowhere to be found, too.

Sad to say, that sounds exactly like something I would have tried at that age.
