You might want to post your location since it's pickup only. Dallas area unless I'm thinking of someone else.

I wish I knew more about monitors and how to repair them... I'd love to put this in a sit-down racing cab.  Anybody got a tutorial on how to adjust convergence on a monitor without zapping yourself??

I would suggest just calling a TV tech to do it.  I would myself, but with a newborn, I just don't have time to mess with this stuff anymore.  (In fact, she's sitting in my lap right now.)

No interest?  I guess this thing is headed to either eBay, or (more likely) the sledge-o-matic.

I wish I had room or a use for the thing. I just can't get it up the stairs and there's no more room in the garage.

What if the best offer is to get it outta your house?  I have space to store it, but can't do anything with it right now.  I am also financially stretched at the moment with a cab in progress and a long list of unexpected CRAP that all happened to fail at the same time this week!

Shall I list?  Well, the 100 degree plus weather killed the A/C, and the garage door ....... oh, well anyway!

Let me know and maybe we can do something eyedoc!

Kev~

Just PM me if I can help you out of a tight spot!

I'm trying to talk my wife into it.  I'm still a newbie at this stuff - I don't have the amazing persuasive skills the rest of you have!  I don't have a lot of money to offer for it, but the bigger hang up is the spousal permission...

It's much easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

Geez ... even if you spend $150 to $200 getting it fixed by a professional, then wouldn't a working 50" screen be worth it?

Yeah, but can the garbage collection guys do it... well, um..... do it before ...... um ...... do it with as much style?  That was a pretty crappy attempt at saving my possibility of getting this monster out of your house before you have time to think about it!

I wish I could do more but I am heavily involved in a current project and would like to get it done so I can then move on to another one!  Or should I say, so the wife LET'S me move on to another project because she's happy with me finishing this one!

Let me know before you call the garbage guys though, I might be able to call in a couple of favors from my better half!

Good Luck Doc, and BTW, get some rest, your eyes look kinda bloodshot!
