Title: Does 1943 have real cocktail mode?
Post by: rchadd on May 19, 2005, 05:58:29 am
There is a picture of it running in a table on klov and the manual has a dip setting to select table type. yet it is categorized as have simultaneous gameplay for P1 and P2. How does that work on a cocktail table. Does P2 simply play viewing the screen backwards?

or does setting cocktail mode dip make it play as alternating gameplay with screen flip?

The manual claims it does, so I would say yes.

the main feature of that game is co-operative 2 player game - so doesnt make sense to play on cocktail table.

If it doesn't have a cocktail 'alternating' mode, you could always hook up player 2's joystick upside down. It's a strange way to play, but it works.
