There is a picture of it running in a table on klov and the manual has a dip setting to select table type. yet it is categorized as have simultaneous gameplay for P1 and P2. How does that work on a cocktail table. Does P2 simply play viewing the screen backwards?
or does setting cocktail mode dip make it play as alternating gameplay with screen flip?

The manual claims it does, so I would say yes.

i've asked the seller to test to be on the safe side.

i have a 1942 in a cocktail table and yes it does flip. assume 1943 would do the same.

i tested in mame and the dip for cocktail table does not exist.

the main feature of that game is co-operative 2 player game - so doesnt make sense to play on cocktail table.

If it doesn't have a cocktail 'alternating' mode, you could always hook up player 2's joystick upside down. It's a strange way to play, but it works.
