My PC keeps giving me an IP address conflict message. I can't figure it out. I have a 4-port Cisco Pix 501 firewall with my PC, Xbox and ReplayTV plugged into it. The wireless card in my PC is disabled. My PC, Xbox and ReplayTV have assigned static addresses 192.168.0.3, 4 & 5 respectively. That's it. I've racked my brain and cannot for the life of me think of what else could be using the address. Whatever it is, it's not causing me any problems. All of my devices are accessing the internet and eachother just fine. But I keep getting the IP conflict message popping up.
Any ideas?

when my check engine light comes on, I just put a piece of tape over it. Does that help at all?

Have you tried rebooting the router?
I've had similar problems where I had perpetual leases setup for all 10+ networked items in my home. I'm not sure, but I think that (for some reason) something cycled off and then back on and the router wanted to assign it a new IP. Since it already had a permanent lease on the previous IP, it would still work, but the router was unhappy about the whole thing. So I started from scratch.
It seems possible that your Replay did it's regular re-set and confused your router.
I don't know, but I'd reboot it. If that doesn't work, then I'd disconnect everything, reboot the router and attach the items one by one. With only three things and no wireless, it shouldn't be too tough to try that out.
