I have been offered opportunity to store my new Centipede project at a friends house for a month or so (because not feasible to store it at my flat - too heavy to carry up the stairs). It is to be put into their conservatory. They said that it might get bit hot in there.

Bearing in mind that we are in the UK and its not exactly tropical at the moment....
would storage in a conservatory and potential temperature affect the cab?
i figured everything should be ok except potential sun damage to the sideart. i planned to cover it with a dust sheet to protect it.
any other potential problems i should consider?
PS - not sure if called same thing in US so posted picture of a conservatory ;)

As you said, I doubt it will get hot enough in the UK to worry about it.

i'd get a really opaque sheet to cover it if you care abuot the sideart. i'd also worry a bit about any sort of temperature, but like stingray said, it probably will be fine.

In parts of Canada we call it a solarium, or sunroom.
Use a dark and thick covering, as mentioned. Keep in mind that sunlight/UV light goes THROUGH cloth.
-
Lather it up with a thick coat of spf 50! 8)

A blanket will shield it from the vast majority of heat as well as UV radiation. After after all, it won't generate its own heat if it's not turned on. A blanket will act as a good insulator. You really ought not to have any problems.
Of course, I'm not claiming responsibility if something DOES happen. :)

Watch out for thieves or vandals dude, might attract unwanted attention.

turns out they're letting me keep it in corner of their kitchen :)
thats what you call good friends!
priority now is to get it up and running - so at least they can play it whilst i am in process of finishing it off...

Wow Thats Very nice of them :D
