I got a new monitor for my xevious, and am trying to hook it up but cannot get a good picture. From the monitor, there are 7 wires, R,G,B, and a white and blue (i assume these are sync), and a black (ground). The xevious has these wires : R,G,B, then wire calles Vid. Rtn (i have no idea) and sync. there is no ground coming from the video section that was originally attached to my old monitor. I connected the RGB, then twisted the white and black wires from the monitor and connected those to sync. I got a picture but it is very light and has some green lines running up and down (horizontal as the monitor is in the vertical position). I connected the vid. rtn to ground and that did nothing. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong? What is vid. rtn and where does it connect to? Should i connect the ground from the monitor somewhere else?

Hi,
I'm also a proud Xevious owner, and I plan to buy a new monitor because the actual is strongly burned :(
Just for information, did you solve your problem ?
What kind of monitor did you use ?
You can have a look at my xevious here : http://www.dragonslairfans.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=63
