Title: Gd-rom for Naomi
Post by: Derby owners club on May 16, 2005, 03:22:31 am
Could a dreamcast be modified to act as a GD-Rom drive for a Naomi arcade board? ...just curious.

Unsure, but if it could then NAOMI could become cheap enough for more end users. If it did work, you'd still need the DIMM board and aren't they typically sold with the GDROM?

You might have a bit better luck with this question at the  Sega Naomi Mega Site (http://www.sega-naomi.com/). Most of the NAOMI tech heads are there on the forums.
