Couple of problems:
1. Is there any way to make ZSNES quit with the ESC key?
2. Is there any way to remap the keyboard controls in FCE Ultra? You can do it with a command line switch in the Linux version but not in Windows. The readme for the version hacked to quit on ESC says there are more config options in the works. Anyone know any more about that?

Did you check on my Website at http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer to see what version I am using. I use both of those ems' with none of the issues you are describing.

Nin, thanks! PM sent.
Actually John I pretty much had your site open the whole time I was setting up the system. Great resource there. I'd say it's invaluable for anyone setting up a multi-emulator system with Mamewah as a FE. Since I followed your links to get the emulators I think I probably have the recommended version. If I'm just missing something... well, I'd be interested to see how you managed key remapping in FCEU As for zsnes I don't see how it's possible without a hack since when you remap a key it uses ESC to clear so you can't really define it as anything.

This is the best resource for cab friendly emulators:

Dire.
Lets start with ZSNES. You need to go into the cfg file and set GUIDisable to 1. Then launch the executable. Setup your controllers and save and exit. Then go back into the cfg file and set GUIDisable = 0. Now from a command prompt (in the ZSNESW folder) try something like this:
zsnesw.exe "c:\zsnesw\roms\3 ninjas kick bac (u).smc"
It should launch the game and exit with the ESC key. It workd great for me. The ESC function is in the code. You don't need to map it to make it work.
Now FCE Ultra.
Just launch the executable. You should get a windowsed version. Set your inputs the way you want. There may be a save feature somewhere in the menu, look and see. ALSO, make sure you redownload the latest version and start with a fresh folder. Just rename your old folder so you don't loose the stuff. Something may have changed. For me it just works.

Thanks - I must have had some kind of brain paralysis and not noticed the guidisable option in the cfg file. As for FCE Ultra I finally figured that one out. I think my brain must have shut down in protest after having to configure Mamewah for eight emulators in one day!
