Title: Lazarus Bug?
Post by: bdp on December 01, 2002, 10:22:53 pm
Howard,

As you can see I really put Lazarus through its paces. :)

I am working on my SNES set now, it's got 3822 roms in its datfile and that is crashing Lazarus.  Even when it's the only entry in the path.  Is the dat file allowance less than 3822?  That's how Laz was behaving when I was using a HUGE dat file before, but I thought it could take up to 4000???  Hopefully it's just a lesser number and this isn't a more serious problem.  I'm assuming it's just the size, Laz hasn't choked on any other DAT files I've fed it so far...

Probably not a bug, but a corrupted dat file.  Also how many games total (all of your lists combined)  do you have?  As of now there is a 20,000 limit, but next version it will be somewhere around 800,000 so that all 200 possible lists can have a full 4000 game compliment.

Hmmm, that may actually be what it is.  Is there a way to see what my current total is, Howard?  These 3800 might be putting me over that 20,000 limit.

Let me know when there's a new beta ready.  I'm ready to test! :)

Gonna go play with command line wrapper 3.0 now. :)

You were right, Howard.  That emu pushed me over 20,000.  Wow, that's a lot of ROMs. :)

Can't wait for that new beta!  Until then, I'll just hafta wait to add more systems in I guess!
