Title: Japanese Space Invaders Part 2
Post by: rchadd on May 12, 2005, 04:11:14 pm
just missed out on these NOS table CP's

anyone vectorized this one yet?

I really like the style - it could be used for any joystick + fire game

no it's not yet vectorised, because of lack of suitable material to start tracing.

can you scan those ones ??

most of us guys on board use Illustrator.
some (Felsir) use visio.
some thers use free software like inkscape, sketch, sodipodi....

I have to say that even if i'm a free software zelot, I have to say that Ilustrator was the best choice for me.

the best starting point is the frostillicuss illustrator tutorial (http://www.localarcade.com/4images/details.php?image_id=223&mode=search")

this was the starting point for most of us.

Me thinks I spend too much time on the internet!

thanks tonight i have been trying to trace this using in illustrator - but not been sucessful

its my first time using illustrator and i just cant get hang of using the pen tool

I read the tutorial link that was posted above but still dont really understand what Alt, Ctrl and Shift does when plotting points.

how do you move points once the shape is drawn? how to add points to the shape?

also cant figure out to make decent curves to fit the photo - plotting a sequence of single points around the curve just doesnt look right :-\

any illustrator tips to help me trace this CP would be appreciated
