Title: Anyone have the main motherboard for Space Encounters?

I am looking for the main motherboard PCB (not the daughter board ... unless you have that as an extra) used in a Space Encounters cabinet?

I am not having good luck with the one I currently have.

I've had a casual look around for one recently, but haven't had any luck as yet (although I'm not trying particularly hard).

Have a CP with yoke (thanks to Paige for the blind ID) sitting on my workbench, but no boards.

 I have a  space encounters upright....its not working at the moment...I had rebuild the powerboard and have somewiring to do....If you want to send it out for repair try http://www.flippers.com/ they did a few omega race boards for me a few years back and I have nothing but good stuff to say about the work they did...

No, I would rather try to learn this type of repair rather than pay for it.   I am after a better board with Roms ..... thanks

Isn't the mainboard just a midway Space Invaders type board? I seem to recall all those games as having the same mainboard and different daughterboards.

Then you can buy one from Elektronforge, they sell Invaders/Invaders Deluxe boardsets with warranty, I am sure they could sell you one with Space Encounters roms on it instead.

My idea was to try and figure out how to resolve board problems, not just get the game working.  In fact, even if I get the game working I do not plan on keeping it. 

Most Space Encounters boards seem not to work since either the RAM is fried or the Roms are bad.    I thought if someone had an extra board lying around, then I might have better luck fixing that one instead of the one I have.   The board I have seems to have more problems then the Ram and Rom.

That is the daughterboard not the main motherboard with the Rom and Ram chips
