Title: JCrouse's layouts and a TV
Post by: btoddkelley on May 10, 2005, 11:12:13 pm
Is anyone using JCrouses layouts and a TV? I am cusious as to how they display on a TV using S-video. The default font is rather small. Any suggestion on font size for display on a TV?

Thanks
Todd

I use JCrouse layouts. They are nearly perfect for me, as is. The only changes I've had to make were in fact related to fonts and font colors.

My display: APEX 24" (it's the "ain't-nuttin-fancy" model I think), 800x600 S-Video from an onboard GeForce 4 display.

As I said, I love the layouts, except that in some cases (MAME layout was one, I think Atari2600 too but I forget exactly), the font colors and sizes seem to bleed so badly as to be unreadable. On those, I either bump the fontsize slightly, or change the color. Sometimes both.
