Title: Electronic dart boards
Post by: Evil Otto on May 10, 2005, 03:16:13 pm
Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding electronic dart boards?  Not looking for arcade style, just a wall mountable.  Most popular appears to be Arachnid, but I can't really find any reviews.  Looking at Arachnid Cricketpro 750.  If anyone has any experience with this board or any electronic boards, I would appreciate your opinions.

Thanks.

Had 2 myself, brother-in-law bought one for a party, took it back the next day when it broke after 3 games, father-in-law bought one.  Doesn't know how to run it, so just keeps track of score by hand.

Father-in-law's has lasted 3 years.  Get that kind of board (the kind you never actually use the electronics for ::) ), or go to an auction and pick up a stand-up bar-type version.  They sell at auctions by me for about the same as the best hang-on-the-wall type ($200)

They aren't worth the extra money they charge for 'em.
