Title: What games use 2 trackballs?
Post by: MadJeff on November 30, 2002, 09:50:56 pm
I was just sitting here trying to remember what games actually used 2 trackballs? Does anyone have a list?  :)

I've noticed some panels out there with 2 trackballs on the panel, but couldn't think of any games that would require it other than maybe the old Atari Football.

IIRC, Off top of my head:

Atari Football (atarifb) [2 or 4]
Atari Soccer (soccer) [2 or 4]
Atari Basketball (not sure rom name)
Cabal (cabal)
Marble Madness (marble)
Rampart (rampart) [3]
Tehkan World Cup (tehkanwc)

Atari Arcade Classics (?rom name)

umm, there's an ice hockey game and a volleyball game.  A track & field version, and a combat training school game.
Maybe attax.
All lightgun games since lightguns are very like trackballs.

I don't know if they "count", but the cocktail games of "1 trackball" games (centiped, milliped, missle command in cocktail mode).

I'll run a better check on mame .62 in a couple days if you want.  I need to do some source editing I already have in my TODO list to get the data first, though.

Attax uses two, one for player one and one for player two.
