Anyone have any experience with this issue. I'm using the $8- 18" flourescent from Lowes. It is back mounted to a 3/4" piece of MDF. Speakers on the otherside of the MDF are just cheapy PC speaker hack. This is in a mini so the speakers and light are pretty close, and there is no where to move this stuff to.
I've done some searching and find plenty of monitor interference issues, but nothing relating to my issue.
Anyone have a quick and easy shielding trick to stop the buzz?

1st guess you have cheep speaker wires
try moving or replace wires to speakers

My original Xmen machine does the same thing. I'm guessing its some sort of interference, but it doesn't bother me enough to look into it heh.

Thanks for the replies.
The speaker wires are actually decent/overkill and very short. The amp is right between them, and there is probably less than a foot of wire to each speaker. I am a little concerned about the plug that attaches them to the amp. - I'll double check there.
I believe that the interference is from the power side of things. Obviously, when you unplug the light, the buzz stops. The amp and the light share a power strip, and the light is ultra cheap, so electrically noisy ballast is my first thought. Maybe there is some sort of isolator that I can plug in between the light and the powerstrip...
I'm open to any other thoughts.
EDIT: added a nice pic of "EMF Man" he is the superhero of the Electromagnetic Field suppression world ;)

I thought wires becouse I can hook my pc to my home seround system but I got a humm. I moved the wire and humm was gone.

florecsent lights cause a hum in sound systems if they are plugged into the same ground.
florescent lights are evil.

I agree.
Now, how is everyone else on this forum using florescent lights on the same powerstrip as their sound systems, and avoiding the buzzzzz?

this is what I use but they are kind of pricey.

or try one of these, I can't guarentee they will work though, but I think they would.
