Title: How can I change my MSN nickname???

Man, this is driving me crazy.

I can't seem to find any information on how to change my MSN nickname. Only programs written by others. I would think MSN would have an official spot where I can change this. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it stored in a  cookie somewhere on my computer? If I change the MSN nickname, does it change my .NET passport nickname as well or do I need to change that as well.

I'm just a little confused right now.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but here's how you can change it on MSN Messenger:

Double-click the messenger icon in your system tray.
Click Tools
Click Options
The first page that displays should be in the Personal category.  At the top of that page you should see:

My Display Name
Type the name as you want others to see it

Put in here whatever you want and it will become your MSN name.  You still login with the same username and password, but your display name is what shows up in instant messenger.

Thanks shmokes. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Guess I'm a little brain dead today  ???  I was able to change to MSN .NET passport nickname by clicking on Edit Profile.
