Title: I need some pics of a pacman cab
Post by: rob1234 on May 08, 2005, 09:51:57 pm
Can anyone with a pacman cabinet do me a favor and take a couple pictures of how the monitor is mounted in the cab? Just pull the glass out and snap a few pics, I would really appreciate it.

pretty simple.

basically 2 metal brackets across the cabinet from side to side and the monitor mounts to that.

LOL ditto here.

I've got cabs in the garage, but I don't know where my camera is.

That is not a real pacman cabinet, and isn't how the real version mounts the monitor.

The real cabinet has the following interior supports:

And the monitor is held with the long u-shaped cross pieces pictured below:

Let me know if you need anymore pictures.

When I installed a PC monitor in one I just built a box for it to sit in at the same angle, fairly easy to do if that is your intent.
