Title: Compile Windows FCE Ultra

Has anyone here compiled a custom version of FCE Ultra?  By default the quit key is F12.  The author told me how to modify the source code to change the quit key to Escape.  My problem is, I'm not a software person.  I made the change in the source, but can't get it to compile.  When I run "make" on the makefile it says there's nothing to do.   ???  Can anyone give any suggestions?
