Title: Command.dat "complete"
Post by: Procyon on May 04, 2005, 10:05:51 pm
While there are still some more obscure fighting games to be covered (and many more mini-manuals to write,) the command.dat is at the point that I was hoping it would be before I branched it in to two different version. So for those of you eagerly awaiting the shorthand version, expect it to appear sometime over the weekend. I hope you like it. In the mean time, the stats for the latest version are as follows:

99 fighting games
16 non-fighting games
18 Mini-Manuals

As always, pick up the latest at:

WOW! ;D

Congratulations!!!

That short hand looks outstanding. Not sure if I'll be able to tell whether I start the circle from the top, left or bottom - but then I've never been good at fireballs anyways. I'm more a button masher (Tekken) myself.

Nice work Procyon.  I've been using command.dat with Mame32FX .86 since I built my control panel some months ago and I gotta say that I love it.  I even have a dedicated command.dat button that also presses pause on my CP.  In fact, the only reason I use Mame32FX is because it has "native" support for the command.dat--and it seems to handle command lines very well, but I guess many versions of Mame32 can handle command lines pretty well.  I'll check out the latest version of command.dat soon.

Cheers,
KenToad
