When did you delete them?
Today, i didnt write down the member name and his shipping addy i needed in the pm.
-
Sorry, I won't have a backup of that. It's to quick. Once you delete, it's final. Thats why it asks you whether you're sure about doing it. :)
-
Im not sure why you asked WHEN i deleted them if thats the case, nothing i can do then.
-
If you had them for a few days / weeks or whatever, there might have been a forum wide backup that Sirwoogie could grab them from. I think that is what he is saying ???
-
I did find what i needed by finding one of the guys posts, he didnt post much so it was difficult, and i didnt remember his name only by seeing it.
Thanks for trying to help.

Yes, I didn't ask that question very well... was typing it fast...
We have some gaps in our backups which I'm correcting. When did you receive these PMs? I might be able to pull them. But it's a pretty consuming item as the forum doesn't handle selective restore of individual fields without me just going in by hand and retreiving them. But, if I know what to look for, I might be able to grep them out.

I got the PMs yesterday and deleted them today, i think.
I deleted them as a bunch and shouldnt have, the one i need was about *spacers* for a joy i was sending this person.
What other info can i give you that would be more helpfull.

That's enough. Sorry, don't have a backup of that. :) Right now, we were keeping weekly archives... But I'm working to have daily fulls with hourly incrementals.
I suggest contacting the user and see if he can resend. All users have an outbox by default these messages are saved in, so he/she may still have the original message there.

I thought it was turned off by default. It was on by default with the old board software, but now you have to hit a checkbox when you want to save to your outbox.
