i installed a 9200 into a candy cab...
i'm using mame-wah for a front end. i can use a jpac to power my marquee and to connect to the jamma harness of the control panel, correct?
-
Not a silly question?
I have too been wondering what all a J-PAC does?
Like can you get a picture to your arcade monitor through it
using your regular PC Video Card ?
When i checked it out on Ultimarc's site. Details seemed a bit hard for common
folk to understand.
Maybe someone on the board that has one, Can tell us what all it does? :)
-
well...

Jpac will not allow anything but a 15k video signal thru it.
The 9200 doesn't need this.
Just hook up the jpac for the controls and use the video cable that comes with the 9200 to hook up your pc.
Later,

That was what i was wondering?
If you had to buy the ARCADE VGA card also?
So let me get this straight?
You need the J-PAC and the ARCADE VGA card.
Then plug your PC with ARCADE VGA card installed,
Into the J-PAC.
