Title: Stupid Question

I'm new to this hobby, and I recieved my first shipment on Sat, thanks ponyboy.
Anyways, I put on a microswitch without putting the ring on first.  I can't seem to get the microswitch off so I can stick the ring on.
Am I screwed or is there some way to get it off that I can't see?  The buttons are Happs Horizontal Microswtich.

Its pretty simple.. just lightly pull em off.. ^_^
