I was playing this tonight, I am not sure why, but it is a great game. One of the best from the 16-bit era. Just curious as to what other peoples favorite sega games were.

Turrican, Populousand the original Sonic are my favorites.
Unfortunately I also have a copy of Altered Beast which I've considered burning many times. I'm worried that it might come back to life and haunt me though. Horrid, horrid game - in which capacity it's almost a perfect port of the arcade version!

Can't agree with you on Altered Beast. Although I admit its not the greatest, it was my 1st 16 bit game and at the time I thought it was great. Although, I just played it and it is not as fun as I remember.
I also like the first Triple play baseball. I created a player named MJ Herm. And in that create a player mode the Stats were based on the name and the name alone. I tried every variation of my name until I found one that made me great. Ah the memories.

Revenge of Shinobi is another good one.

i thought it was terrible...! way too sluggish and had little character. maybe the version i played was pre-alpha, but streets of rage 1 is untouchable in the series, imho, of course.

I loved Beats of Rage, but mostly because I'm easily won over by SNK-related stuff, or at least the usage of the characters.
