Title: Playstation Game Suggestions
Post by: DreamWeb on April 29, 2005, 01:07:14 am: Hey guys. I'm thinking about adding PSX to my cab.

Do you have any suggestions? I'm looking for mostly for Great games.. that aren't emulated elsewhere (like, say, Bust-a-move) that won't appear too outdated.

For example.. I thought Tekken 3 might be a good addition.

Any ideas?

i found that epsxe is the best that i tried. google it and it should get you the homepage

Post by: elvis on May 01, 2005, 12:31:54 am: Second vote for epsxe. It has the best compatability I've come across. It plays everything I own on my real PSX, but with neato high res modes, extra filtering modes and whatnot.

Fine, I suspect.

I'm running it on a 2 ghz athlon with a 64 meg Radeon 8500.. and it plays smoothly everything I throw at it.

I notice when the CD audio is turned on, it stutters.
If I run w/cd audio off, it is fine.

Not sure if this is how it works with all of you,
but if it would be a problem w/my cd rom for some reason...
would i have better luck running the CD off an iso file instead?
Can you do the 'cd audio' when running off an iso?

If it does run better off iso.. I bet you can guess what my
next question will be .... ;)

I'm guessing its not as easy as putting the PS CD and going into
nero and making an ISO... any hints on where to get a good tutorial
on PS ISO buring?

quite easy... ;)

Alcohol 120% makes a very quick ISO of the CD....

Sorry.. I tend to be quite lazy on Sundays... (and Mondays, and Tuesdays... etc)

Basically any game that you love that doesn't require 8 easy to access buttons or analog joysticks, unless you have an A-Pac, of course.
