Title: Shuffleshot help
Post by: Timstuff on April 28, 2005, 10:39:47 pm
I know this is gonna sound dumb, but I was playing with a trackball and I can't figure out how to launch my little disc thingie. Can someone enlighten me?

This is a dreaded problem that I too have experienced.  Not sure what casues it or even how to fix it.  Seems to depend on what trackball you are using, and the settings.  If you are using Windows, try changing the mouse/trackball settings.

Maybe someone else has more helpful information ;)

roll the trackbal forward (fast/slow) thats how it determines how far the puck goes.

It takes some messing around with the mouse/trackball settings in Mame and windows to get it just right.  This is true for World Class Bowling as well.

If you do a search on shuffleshot, you should find some other posts with more information.

I gather from this post that you have never experienced the "shuffleshot puck wall problem"  ;)

When it happens, the result is that the puck doesn't release, no matter how fast or slow the trackball is rolled...
