Hey everyone,
I'm developing a new 2P control panel and I want to have a dedicated 4 way joystick on one side and an 8 way on the other. Three questions:
1. what's the best 4 way ONLY joystick
2. what's the best 8 way joystick
3. Is there a 4/8 way switchable joystick that is "as good as" a dedicated 4 way?
Opinions and personal preferences are greatly appreciated.
Sorry for all the questions, but I want to tap the knowledge in this group.

Based on most of the other responses on the board:
Best 4-way only joystick - PacMan Galaga Replacement
Best 8-way joystick - Competitions for fighting, Super for classics
I don't recommend using these on a 2-player panel. Personally, I plan to use a pair of Competitions with Oscar's restrictor plates for 4-way games.
