Title: WG9200/reverse kvm/ArcadeVGA question
Post by: Buschmaster on April 27, 2005, 11:51:18 am
I have a WG9200 42a, ArcadeVGA video card and a Belkin Reverse KVM.

The reason I have the reverse KVM is because I don't have the cash to have a dedicated machine for the arcade cabinet and that I can use the computer away from the cabinet.

Is there any reason that anyone can think of that I shouldn't be using a reverse KVM?  Under the ATI control panel I am unable to select Television.

I don't see any reason why this should not work. In fact do you need to switch the video? You might be able to leave the TV and the monitor connected. A KVM does not normally switch TV signals, only VGA anyway.

Having a PC monitor and WG9200 hooked to the KVM seems to work fine, but I wasn't sure if I wasn't getting what I should out of the ArcadeVGA card by doing this.

I was sure to buy a better VGA cable then then one that came with the monitor.  If anyone buys one make sure you buy a nice VGA cable you will notice a difference.
