Title: Joust to Multi-Williams Replacement Monitor ?
Post by: johnvv on April 26, 2005, 02:02:37 am
I have a Joust that is in sad shape and will be restoring and updating to a Multi-Williams, despite the negative economics involved...

It still has the orginal monitor, which works fine, but has a fair amout of burn.  I'd like to replace it.  What are the choices for a replacement?  Is one condisdered better that others?

I've seen the Vision Pros at arcadeshop.com for $179.  I found a WG model that was about $300 (lost my notes on it).  I assume some model of 19" Betson will also work.  Will any power changes be needed for these newer monitors?  Yes, I'm a newbie at this.  But the Joust will look great when it is done (new paint, new CPO, new electronics, etc.)

Thanks.  I have done some searching prior to posting this.

Yes, the Happ Vision Pro, Betson-Imperial (Kortek), and Wells are all excellent monitors.
