HELP! i cant find any info anywhere. I have a Teken Tag 4 arcade game i bought, everything is in working order, but i also want to use everything to hook Mame up too. I plan to use separate power buttons for the Teken Jamma and Mame PC(just turning on one or the other), what i want to know is can i wire both to the same monitor? Do i need to wire in diodes to the wires for the monitor, or will that cause problems? If only one game is on (Jamma or PC) will the monitor work OK, or will it feed back into the other causing damage (I'm more worried about trashing the jamma board)

I doubt you researched this much if you haven't herd about the jpac.

You'd probably want to drive it with this video card.

Have fun!

yes I've heard and read about both. BUT the J-PAC lets u connect a PC TO a Jamma cabinet. It doesn't say anything about it's ability to hook BOTH the PC and the original Jamma to the same monitor. (just another, easier way to use the arcade monitor). I'm looking for info on hooking Both the PC and Jamma board up to the same cabinet and monitor, WITHOUT frying the Jamma board or PC or monitor, as far as the ArcadeVGA, i have already purchased it and the I-PAC4

Wire in a second JAMMA harness and a 2-way switch that will switch power between the PC and the JAMMA power supply. That is all you need to do.
Oh, wait, you bought an I-Pac 4 instead of the J-Pac that you needed. Sorry, can't help with that setup. Sell it and get the right tools for the job. J-Pac, you need a J-Pac.

The I-PAC4 (building a 4-player cab) is for the control interface not the video. As far as the power goes, that was easy enough already have that taken care of, but your hinting around on my real problem if i parallel the 2 different systems to the one monitor, will running one cause voltage to feedback into the other and damage the Jamma board, PC or monitor?

ArcadeVGA + JPAC + MultiJAMMA

That's the expensive but easiest route.
There's info on ultimarc or from Andy at ultimarc on setting the arcadevga and jpc to work together.

no we're getting some where. It is a rather pricey way to go thought, thats for sure. But i wonder, would the multijamma board think that the mame pc is a jamma board?

If you use a JPac, it is a jamma board.
And the JPac+ArcadeVGA+MultiJamma+JammaBoards is a nice set up to run. Only downside that I have found occurs when switching games, sometimes I have to tune the brightness/contrast settings.
