Title: Need help removing knob from joystick..

Does anyone know for sure how to get the knob off of this joystick?

pull off the eclip from the bottom of the stick!!

Oh man, I see you've chewed up the shaft there. Get a small flathead screwdriver. Push DOWN on that black plastic that's around the shaft. All will be obvious once you do that. Just insrt the screwdriver into a gap in the E-clip and then twist till you pop the clip off.

If there are a lot of burrs kicked up on that shaft, it might be fun to get that out of there now.

You might need file that down a little if it still won't pull through after removing the e-clip.

Thanks for the help!!  ;D  Actually the shaft was just fine.  The camera made it look bad.  Once the E clip was out, it was smooth as silk.  This control panel has seen better days though.
