Title: Quickly need ipacs/hagstrom command line config
Post by: Lilwolf on May 07, 2002, 11:02:43 pm
Whats the command line to configure a ipac?  (I have a MK, and need to make sure that a change to my frontend will work with it).

How about hagstroms?

MK's example
keymap cp4
where cp4 is a file in that directory with the keymapping in it.

thanks

ipacutil myconfig.cfg /b /s

The /b tells the utility to batch load the config file without going into the programming screen.  The /s is for silent mode which suppresses the dos message output.

There are two more options that some people need to avoid timeout errors while sending the config to the IPac.  I think they are /d and /t, but I don't have the documentation with me.

For the Hagstrom KE72 & KE72T:

KE72LOAD [config filename] 1

The one signifies what COM port you are using.  There are other ways to connect, but I can't remember them (at work right now).

This assumes that you have their KE72LOAD program on the PC.
