I finally got my Outrun board
-
Pictures, please.
-
Yes, pictures please----both of the symptom displayed on the screen and of the monitor rear chassis to help identify the specific make/model of the monitor in question.

The monitor is an electrochrome GO7 19". I will get a pic of the lines later today, but the best I have gotten it to look is 3 blue arcs that come up and end at the bottom of the screen. The pictures will explain better.
Thanks, Patrick

Well... I still have not gotten my monitor working, but through talking to a repairman, I think I have the solution. I am missing a capacitor on the neck board. He says that it is very common for that to break off on these monitors. Now, I can bring it in to him to fix for $40, or I can pick up a used WG from him for $100. But can't I just buy that capacitor somewhere for like $5 and solder it on myself?? Anyone know what capacitor I need and where to find it??
Also, I tried to post pics, but they keep turning out horrible when I try to take a pic of the screen.
Thanks, Patrick

Personally I'd do both. $140 for two working, professionally serviced monitors sounds like a deal to me.

Download a G07 manual. It has a map of both the chassis and neckboard. You can compare it and see if you're missing a cap and it should tell you what mF and voltage the cap should be. If you're not comfortable working on a monitor, then go with the pro.

Thanks for the input.... I have the manual, but I can not find the capacitor, except online. So, by the time I buy the part and shipping, and still not sure if this is the problem, I guess I should just have it fixed.
