Title: Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker question
Post by: dema on April 24, 2005, 01:57:29 am
Before I remove the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers from their packaging, I thought I'd ask the community how well they work with the tvs/monitors in arcade cabinets. I read that the Promedia speakers are shielded, but I wanted to ensure that they won't screw up the picture on my arcade's tv when they're all mounted into place. I'd rather not make yet another mistake if possible.

I'm not familiar with that model, but their movie theater speakers suck.

I had a problem with mine, but I had them mounted VERY close to the monitor. I backed them up only about an inch and now they're fine. According to Klipsch they are shielded. I haven't measured but I would bet that even after my adjustment, mine are within 5 inches of the screen.

Just put 'em next to your screen and see...They should be shielded by being "pc" speakers...
