When I get around to mounting the controls onto my control panel, I plan on doing so with all the screws on the underside of the control panel to keep everything looking smooth and clean up above. But I also plan on using a plexi glass or lexan CP cover, and without any screws going through the CP cover and into the controls I wonder if it will be sturdy enough. Does anyone have any tips for where to place "holder screws" on a CP cover, or are the un-neccessary? Would the bezels on the buttons be enough to hold it in place?

Usually the buttons are sufficient unless you have an extremely abnormally designed cp. Post a pic of your cp.

I was planning on putting a screw in each corner of the lexan, that seems to be the most common approach. I'm also not going to have the screws on top from the joys, but I would certainly think you would want to make sure that lexan never moved.
Plus I'm going to have artwork under there, and if the panel moves, you can count on the art getting messed up.
