Since I'm on a budget and need a new CPU/Mobo comonation, I found 2 nice barebones kits that fit my needs, both of which are from Tiger Direct (goin in w/ a couple of my firends to save shipping $$$). The first has a Sempron 3000+ (2 Ghz, 512 MB cache, 333 MHz Bus Speed). This one is $20 cheaper than the second, which has an XP 2900+ (2.08 Ghz, 512 MB Cache, 400 MHZ Bus Speed). Im not sure if the second would be any more useful in MAME/other emulators than the Sempron, and money IS an issue. Its only $20 but as a high school student on a really tight budget I can't afford to spend too much on this project w/ college around the corner (praying for some merit aid). So which should I go with?
Thanks for any help ;D

If it's exclusively for MAME then I'd go with the cheaper one. If you want to do other things with it then that 400MHz bus speed will come in handy.

Both of them are over-kill for MAME.

Yeah but I would like them to handle my PSX and DC Games, so thats why Im in this position...otherwise Id go w/ a 500 MHz PC
