I purchased a Key-Wiz usb interface I thought it emulated a keyboard not a gamepad. I want to use it in a cab using Mamewah as my front end and command line mame. I am runnning windows xp pro. Is there a way to make the gamepad at like a keyboard? I need it to be a automatic process that would load when the PC starts. Please help I am in the last steps and want to finish this ASAP. ;D
Thanks inadvance

I dont see the problem really. Mame can use joypads as can all the major emulators.

how about using it for mamewah? you see I need to control my cab by the control panel only. I do not want to use a keyboard. Is it posible to program it for mamewah?

Clarifications first:
There is no KeyWiz USB, you have a GP-Wiz, which is a GamePad/Joystick based USB interface.
But no need to fret.
JoytoKeyworks very well, and failing that, RBJoy v7.
Both will let you assign gamepad button presses to keys and will work fine for controlling front ends.
Just email me if you need copies of them, they are free.

No need to use JoytoKey just for Mamewah. Mamewah accepts joypad inputs. All the info you need on how to configure the controller config file should be in the documentation that comes with mamewah.
